IMPly Lab
The IMPly Lab (Internet Measurement, Privacy & Policy) studies the Internet as infrastructure: who controls it, who it exposes, and who it leaves behind. We build measurement methods and conduct empirical analyses that produce evidence on contested questions in technology policy, with a focus on online privacy and broadband access. Our work appears in the field's top venues for Internet measurement and privacy: IMC, PETS, CCS, and SIGCOMM. We have received funding from NSF, Comcast, the Internet Society, and the Ford Foundation.
